Driver's License -- must be a valid, current US driver's license. Learners permits are not accepted.
Moped drivers must be at least 21 years of age(19 with parent).

You must have your license with you or we can not rent you a moped
.
Mopeds are for single riders only ,with riders' weight limit of 200 lbs.




Credit Card needed for your deposit. 


 

Reservations recommended. No rentals after 3pm.

Sunglasses or other eye protection--this is Washington state law for all mopeds.

Camera--to take pictures of your trip (not to be used while you are driving however!)

Sturdy, close toed shoes--sandals or flip-flops are not allowed.


Appropriate clothing--the weather can be chilly, so make sure you bring plenty of warm gear for the day.

RCW 46.61.710
Mopeds, EPAMDs, electric-assisted bicycles, motorized foot scooters -- General requirements and operation.

(1) No person shall operate a moped upon the highways of this state unless the moped has been assigned a moped registration number and displays a moped permit in accordance with the provisions of RCW 46.16.630.

(2) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a moped may not be operated on a bicycle path or trail, bikeway, equestrian trail, or hiking or recreational trail.

(3) Operation of a moped, electric personal assistive mobility device, or an electric-assisted bicycle on a fully controlled limited access highway is unlawful. Operation of a moped or an electric-assisted bicycle on a sidewalk is unlawful.

Legal owner not liable for acts of registered owner.

The person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation to whom a certificate of ownership shall have been issued shall not thereby incur liability or be responsible for damage, or otherwise, resulting from any act or contract made by the registered owner or by any other person acting for, or by or under the authority of such registered owner.
Loaning scooter to your friend is unlawful and they may be cited for taking the scooter without permission or "joy riding".
Scooter renter maybe cited also.
